Look up your elected representatives.
It's the start of a new quarter here at Medill, which means that our writing staff is turning over. Last quarter's students will now be filing for various Chicago publications with the Medill News Service.
But fear not, dear reader, for a new batch of 'Methods Reporters' has arrived on campus this week. A few have already expressed interest in filing stories and photos for the site and we're pulling together a bit of an actual editorial team to make this quarter's articles even better than the last.
Later this week we'll be putting up another Alderman candidate profile from the same writer who brought you the oft-quoted Scott Waguespack piece.
And I thought we'd try out the sidebar on the left side for a few days to see how it feels. Any comments?
Expect the next batch to bring in a host of new features and ideas for the site. it will become what they choose to make it...
Let me know if you want info on the craziness that is the 46th ward. The Anti-Shiller campaign has vandalized Wikipedia entries for Helen Shiller, and all kinds of nutty blogs.....it's late, but there is a real interesting story (or 2 or 3) to be found there.
Let me know!
I've passed your e-mail onto Miss Nylen. Expect to hear from her (and perhaps a few other political writers she knows) soon. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Not to be pushy...but it's been a week and no responses (as far as i know).
You can also e-mail me at jp paulus.com

Time's running out....
Thanks!
