The CTA on Monday announced the first expansion of its Bus Tracker system, a $24 million program that will enable riders to locate the whereabouts of all buses on a route and also help the transit agency reduce bus bunching.

"Bus Tracker will reduce wait times and make bus service more convenient and reliable," CTA President Ron Huberman said at a news conference Monday at the transit agency's Kedzie Avenue bus garage.
