CTA announces service changes on Blue and Red Lines

CTA rail service on sections of the Blue and Red Lines will be temporarily suspended to enable crews to work on them this weekend, officials said.

From 9 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Monday, trains will not run on the Blue Line between the Jefferson Park, Harlem and Cumberland stations or on the Red Line between the Fullerton and Cermak/Chinatown stations, according to a CTA news release.
