826Michigan’s Rules for Tutoring
THINGS UPON WHICH WE AGREE…
- Drop-in tutoring is a place where students are welcome to receive help with their homework and projects.
- Students respect one another’s work. We will run and yell only when it is appropriate.
- We will refrain from playing music, as it can be a distraction.
- Monimals rule! And Giraffecats are the most famous and huggable monimal.
- Computers are used as learning tools.
- You are welcome in the Monster Store for a five-minute break if:
- Your work is complete.
- You have a tutor with you.
- Everyone cleans up his or her own mess.
- Plastic babies belong on trees and on walls, not in your pockets. The babies live on those trees and walls, and they'll be very sad if you remove them, as will our staff.
- The hours for drop-in tutoring are Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00-5:30PM. This means that students should show up after 3:00 and be picked up by 5:30.
- Tutors and students are here because they want to be.
