Good Government Group Sues City Over the Parking Meter Deal

The Independent Voters of Illinois-Independent Precinct Organization sued the city of Chicago this morning, charging that because of the meter deal taxpayer money is illegally being used to benefit a private company, Chicago Parking Meters LLC.

I hope Independent Voters win, or it is determined that you can not have driving rights revoked due to tickets from parking meters. So, would we have to pay for meters if we really didn't want to?

Expect quick dismissal of this lawsuit on motion by opposing counsel.

May I ask plaintiffs to quantify the "benefit" derived by the lessess when cash flows appear to be unpredictable?
