Weekend Events (Sunday, March 21st)

The Albany Park Weekend Events is back! I stopped doing it because of the weather, and frankly, because there isn't much to do in this neighborhood in the winter months. And I dropped the ball on not getting around to this earlier and including Friday & Saturday. Oops.

Sunday

All about the streets

Windy Citizens do not rest, even on a Friday. Here's your rundown in which I jam the word "street" into every teaser:

Art class: A Hyde Park mural designed by Olivia Gude kicks off a Chicagoist series showcasing outdoor street murals and indoor art around the city.

2 Saints, 1 CEO, a train, some bloggers, and a sign

Well, what's a day on Windy Citizen without a lot of controversy and opportunities to give some well-deserved props?

Classic film star: The incomparable Eva Marie Saint will return to Chicago for the first time in 24 years for a special screening of "North by Northwest" at the Music Box on March 30. One Citizen didn't know she was still alive. Oh, yes. She is 85.

Crime Alert: Stranger Danger Alert continues

If you live in a 5 block radius by the X Sport Fitness / Village Discount Store on Elston (between Lawrence & Montrose) , please be on the look out for strange men trying to lure children into their cars.

There have been 3 instances in the past 3 weeks in that area. The creeps are :
