Obama's light-sabering display for the 2016 games? Action Figure action?

This is getting a lot of attention in the Geek--o-sphere, Obama with a lightsaber having fun after watching a fencing demonstration. The International Olympic Committee votes on the 2016 host city next month and the event at the White House yesterday was a show of support for Chicago's bid. What I want to know is why a lightsaber was handy on the front lawn. How did it get past the secret service? Was it his personal lightsaber? That'd be cool :)

What else is cool? How about an action figure of a light sabering President Obama. Apparently someone came up with a 12 inch toy that has a light saber accessory and yo, dude... I mean, he's wearing the same tie man...! [ed]
