Good morning, everyone, it's 12:00am. Well, there was yet another shooting in Avondale, about two hours ago. This one occurred in the 2800 block of N Harding. There are very little details on it, but what I gather from scanner chatter, three Cobra gang members were shot at around 10:30pm. The offending vehicle is dark blue in color. It's a van. It fled towards Schubert in the alley between Pulaski and Harding. Second, the carnival at Lawndale and Wolfram is over until next August. It was calm compared to last year, as far as I know :). Third, today is going to be 81 degrees and sunny. That said, crime might go up a little. I'll be closely mointoring the 2800 block of N Harding. So, here's crime for today.
12:00AM - Beat car 2525 is getting a couple of disturbances on the PDT. With that, good night :).
10:00AM - I'm back. Good morning :).
10:50AM - Traffic accident. 4052 W Palmer.
10:53AM - Found property. 3634 W Fullerton. A gun was found.
11:36AM - There was a job on Ridgeway somewhere.
11:53AM - Several units are heading over to Kelyvn Park High School for an unknown reason.
11:58AM - Disturbance. Armitage and Pulaski. Male begging for money at the gas station.
12:05PM - The 11:58am job is coded 19P.
12:06PM - The 11:36am job is coded 5Boy, and Beat car 2524 is doing a Community concern check at 4011 W Fullerton.
12:18PM - Beat car 2523 is doing something at 2800 N Kenneth.
12:19PM - Missing person report. 3636 W Dickens. 16 yr old has gone missing for a second time.
12:20PM - Beat car 2523 is taking in one from Kenneth. He asks for a Community concern event number. It's 07752.
12:32 to 12:33PM - General police and dispatch chatter regarding the 12:19pm job.
12:56PM - Domestic Battery. 3638 W North. Something about a boyfriend. Breaking glass could be heard in the background.
1:04PM - Vice complaint. On 2524's beat.
1:23PM - Burglar report. 2920 N Hamlin.
1:24PM - Parker. 4000 W Schubert. Truck blocking the street.
1:28PM - Disturbance w/ a mental. 3601 W Armitage. Male Black with a red t-shirt and blue jeans is yelling at people.
1:33PM - Theatening suicice. 1832 N Springfield. A woman called 911 to say she slit her wrists.
1:41PM - An RD number has been pulled from the 1:23pm job. It's HR500762 with the event number of 08481.
2:46PM - Burglar report. 2628 N Lawndale.
3:08PM - Check the well being. 3726 W McLean. Husband is distraught about the complaint divorcing him. He's thinking about buying a gun.
3:13PM - An RD number has been pulled from the 2:46pm job. It's HR500925 with the event number of 09946.
3:23 to 3:27PM - The radio was off again.
3:54PM - Assault in progress. 3122 N Davlin.
4:14PM - Person wanted. 2537 N Lowell. Male White, 5'9, missing some front teeth and has a finger that was partially cut off is at this location now. He's supposed to be in some sort of home in a different police district. He's also a ward of the state.
4:27PM - Battery in progress. Harding and Diversey. Two males fighting and one's got possibly a knife. Note: Oh, just wonderful. If anyone remembers, this is litterally the sight of that shooting last night. I wonder if this has anything to do with it?
4:31PM - A slow down is being given on the 4:27pm job.
4:32PM - Wagon needed at the 4:14pm job.
4:38PM - Criminal trespass in progress. 2310 N Keystone. It was orginally thought that a male was trespassing, but he's just the owner of the builidng. Dispatch can't cancel this call, so 2524 (assigned to this call) has to go still.
4:46PM - Selling in either the 2000, 2100, 2200 or 2300 blocks of N Central Park, on 14's side. Note: I'm assuming it's on one of those blocks because this was orginally on 2525's beat, which covers those blocks, Central Park to Keeler.
5:13PM - Disturbance. 3068 N Avers. 8 males drinking in the alley, blocking the garage off.
5:43PM - Domestic disturbance. 2524 N Central Park. Problem with the brother's girlfriend.
5:47PM - Criminal trespass in progress. 1633 N Hamlin. A male is taking a boot off of a car.
6:16PM - Beat 2505 is doing investigation work at the 5:47pm job :).
6:19PM - The 5:47pm job is coded 19P.
6:23PM - Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Mozart.
6:32PM - Beat 2546, who's assigned to the western end of the 'hood(s), and the 20 sector in general, is getting some disturbances on the PDT.
7:03PM - Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Kelyvn.

8:30PM - There's some gang activity in either the 2100, 2200 or 2300 blocks of N Springfield, on 2525's Beat.
8:33PM - Criminal trespass in progress. 1644 N Hamlin. Some males just went into the vacant building.
8:37PM - There's some job in the coverage area.
8:38PM - Information for the police. 4234 W Wellington. Something about a car.
8:39PM - Parker. 4167 W Wellington.
8:46PM - Barking dog. 2516 N Springfield.
8:47PM - There's a job at 2437 N Ridgeway.
8:54PM - They're calling back on the 8:33pm job.
8:58PM - Assault in progress. 4458 W Atlgeld. Gangbangers threatening people.
9:29PM - Beat 2543 is on a traffic stop at 2930 N Harding.
9:59PM - Disturbance. 3123 N Milwaukee. Male knocking on the door, refusing to leave.
10:11PM - Gang disturbance. 3700 W Dickens.
10:21PM - Shots fired. 2014 N Keystone. Two heard.
10:22PM - Shots fired. Armitage and Karlov. Two heard.
10:23PM - Wanted from the 10:21/10:22pm jobs is a green Toyota, heading northbound on Keystone.
10:24PM - Gang disturbance. Barry and Monticello. Three yelling their signs.
10:28PM - A unit was flagged down at Belmont and Lawndale regarding a male Hispanic, 20s, shaved head and white sleeveless shirt acting suspiciously on a bike in the 3600 blocks of W Barry and Belmont.
10:35PM - Domestic disturbance. 3033 N Davlin. Argument in front.
10:56PM - Domestic Battery. 2523 N Monticello. Complaint and boyfriend are fighting. Pepper spray is being used in this latest fight (because there has been several calls here recently).
11:07PM - Battery in progress. Hamlin and Diversey. Several VS 1. Note: I don't see/hear anything, yet. I live about a half of a block from the location.
11:19PM - Gang disturbance. 2900 block of N Hamlin. Dispatch thinks it's related to the 11:07pm job.
11:39PM - 1) Burglar report. 4007 W Wellington. 2) Burglar report. 4042 W Palmer. 3) Parker. Belden and Keystone. 4) Parker. 2933 N Ridgeway.
11:40PM - 1) They're calling back on the 10:56pm address. This time, someone keeps turning off the fan in an apartment in the building. These are different parties than the previous job there. 2) Gang disturbance. Drummond and Konster. 3) Disturbance. 3801 W Belmont. Intoxicated male harassing people and refusing to leave the Dunkin' Donuts.
