Good morning, everyone, it's 9:00am. It's another (rather) cold day, with highs only going to be in the upper 60s again. Anyway, I woke up at 6:30 but I had some other things to do, though I'm here now, and I'll be here until my dinner time. Tomorrow, I have to go to my school for orientation. So, here's crime for today.
10:31AM - Unit needs an ambulance at 3076 N Avers for a male in his 50s that's down.
12:34PM - Domestic disturbance. 1824 N Springfield. Problem with the grandson who needs to be removed.
12:45PM - Criminal damage in progress. 4100 W Wrightwood. Two males in white t-shirts and black shorts are tagging the viaduct.
12:46PM - A female officer is being told that the taggers are at Aldi's.
1:44PM - Person w/ a gun. Armitage and Pulaski. A male White and three male Blacks in a brown or tan van flashed gang signs at the complaint, and I'm assuming one of the four showed a gun. They're circling the area.
1:48PM - Recover the stolen auto. 3640 W Altgeld.
3:02PM - Burglar report. 2638 N Pulaski. Public Storage.
3:40PM - Disturbance. 1725 N Ridgeway. Group of teens loitering and making lots of noise.
4:14PM - Theft. 3934 W Diversey. Merchandise stolen.
4:22PM - Person w/ a gun. Karlov and Palmer. Male Hispanic, 16, bald, blue shirt and jeans is driving around in a van with another gangbanger, looking for revenge. I guess he's got a gun.
4:33PM - Disturbance w/ a mental. 3612 W Cortland. Male White in his 40s with a yellow shirt and shorts yelling for his son. He's got a pipe.
4:47PM - Now there's a male begging for money at Walgreens, 3934 W Diversey.
4:53PM - Assault. 3703 W McLean. Group of girls threatened to stab and kill the complaint.
4:57PM - Theft. Pulaski and Wellington. Bike was stolen. Apparently, this is a second call.
5:03PM - Theft report. Belmont and Harding.
5:04PM - Vice complaint. Wellington and Kenosha. At the house next to the fieldhouse @ Ken-Well Park, three male teens are drinking and smoking weed.
5:09PM - Per an off duty PO, four to five male Hispanic are stopping cars at Fullerton and Lawndale, selling drugs.
5:14PM - An RD number has been pulled from the 4:57pm job. It's HR513056 with the event number of 11650.
5:23PM - 1) Vicious animal. 4000 W Nelson. Brown pitbull running around on the block. 2) Disturbance. 2447 N Pulaski. In the repair shop.
5:40PM - Traffic accident. Dickens and Karlov.
5:54PM - Narcotics. 2107 N Lawndale.
6:04PM - Burglary. 2131 N Avers. Male Hispanic, white hat, in his teens broke into an apartment and is still on scene.
6:09 to 6:11PM - Police/dispatch chatter regarding the 6:04pm job.
6:23PM - Disturbance. 2933 N Lawndale. People playing basketball in the street.
6:25PM - Person down. Harding and Bloomingdale. By the railroad tracks. Female.
6:28PM - The 6:25pm female is supposedly gone.
6:39PM - Beat car 2524 has a bona fide Burglary at the 6:04pm job. They're ordering ET and canvassing.
6:40PM - Domestic disturbance. 3641 W Fullerton. 21 yr old and a window.
6:42PM - Domestic Battery. 2237 N Hamlin. Complaint was beaten up by the boyfriend.
6:51PM - Disturbance. 3900 block of W Barry. One female refuses to move her car and now the whole street is blocked off.
7:00PM - Battery in progress. Mozart Park. Group of kids fighting on the Armitage side.
7:05PM - I have to go. I'll be back tomorrow. Good night, everyone.
