ESPN recently posted its "NBA Summer Forecast: '09-10 East standings" and it shows that the Chicago Bulls are projected to finish sixth in the East this season with a 43-39 record, slightly better than last season's 41-41 finish. This conclusion was reached from a consensus of 53 panelists
"Our voters have the Bulls winning as few as 30 games and as many as 55, and perhaps it comes down to what they think of reigning rookie of the year Derrick Rose, whose scintillating playoff performance was followed by a tumultuous summer. In any case, most of our panel is bullish on Chicago overall."
With the return of a healthy Luol Deng and a Tyrus Thomas who is hopefully fully recovered from a wrist injury, not to mention the addition of every-now-and-then spark plug Jannero Pargo and a team that has had more time to gel, the Bulls seem on track to improve on their success last season.
What do you think? How will the Bulls fare this season?
