About this blog

Hey we’re 10 years without an all-star and the best part of the season is the end of the season when the 2010 free agency spree begins. But in between, we’ll have a lot of fun. Derrick Rose may ascend to stardom; Aaron Gray may get that Vitamin Water contract he was seeking and Vinny DelNegro will get Kirk Hinrich’s name right.

Chicago Bulls projected to finish 6th in the East by ESPN

ESPN recently posted its "NBA Summer Forecast: '09-10 East standings" and it shows that the Chicago Bulls are projected to finish sixth in the East this season with a 43-39 record, slightly better than last season's 41-41 finish. This conclusion was reached from a consensus of 53 panelists

"Our voters have the Bulls winning as few as 30 games and as many as 55, and perhaps it comes down to what they think of reigning rookie of the year Derrick Rose, whose scintillating playoff performance was followed by a tumultuous summer. In any case, most of our panel is bullish on Chicago overall."

With the return of a healthy Luol Deng and a Tyrus Thomas who is hopefully fully recovered from a wrist injury, not to mention the addition of every-now-and-then spark plug Jannero Pargo and a team that has had more time to gel, the Bulls seem on track to improve on their success last season.

What do you think? How will the Bulls fare this season?
