Extra-alarm fire on Northwest Side

Firefighters were responding to a fire in a commercial building on the Northwest Side tonight.

A second alarm was called about 9 p.m. for the building in the 5600 block of West Belmont Avenue, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Quention Curtis.
