Chicagoan Thaddeus Jimenez ("TJ") is the youngest person at the time of his arrest ever to be exonerated in Illinois and likely in all of the United States. John, there's a link to a verdict over on FindLaw related to this case: http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=il&vol=1944358&in...

It's from 1996 and looks like a circuit court is reversing a decision made in a lower court due to improper screening of the jury. Not 100% sure where this fits into the timeline.

Hi adelle77--TJ's conviction was reversed in 96, but then he was he was re-convicted. The case you found is part of that reversal and reconviction.
