Fair question, biverson. Citizens will take up where CPD patrolmen leave off in my Northwest Side Jefferson Park neighborhood. Some of us enjoy the sport.

I was thinking more of police working with neighborhood groups and being deployed by neighborhood. The vigilante approach often ends up featured in the "Darwin Awards" annals.
