New airlines coming to O'Hare? Big gate shift creates opportunity

Delta and Continental are vacating gates to sublease spaces from Northwest and United. For the city and the flying public, the big shift offers the potential for new carriers to use gates at hard-to-crack O'Hare, where United and Forth Worth-based American Airlines have dominated. This leaves 6 gates unused in Terminal 3, where someone like Virgin America could move in.
