I counted the number of McDonald's one day from class to Union Station and came across seven, by then end of it I really wanted Burger King.

It's ironic how in Chicago you can find a McDonald's in some places where there isn't a single grocery store.

Plenty of Food & Liquor stores served those financially challenged Chicago neighborhoods which were once a part of my Wells Fargo Alarm Service territory on Chicago's South Side.

Was it the neighborhood's cyclical consumer spending or greedy shop owners who left overly ripe fruit, vegetables & means lining their retail displays?
