In Chicago elementary schools, nachos are second only to cheese pizza in meals served, despite being offered only half as often. In high schools, nachos are also No. 2, just behind chicken patty sandwiches.

My schools' lunch menu from middle school to high school match the description above to a t.

Sounds just like my elementary and high school days, but all the food was bad. We used to count how many napkins the grease from the cheese pizza could turn clear.
