Students from Kelvyn Park High School led a tour of their neighborhood for some 25 teachers, staff and administrators because, as student Brian Perea said, "teachers mostly had a negative view of our community, so we decided to create a community tour to change their minds.” The "Walking in My Shoes" tour was organized by VOYCE, Voices of Youth in Chicago Education.
