Are you kidding me? Cameron's house is for sale?

The realtor's name: Meladee HUGHES (not making this up)

The listing:

THE BEN ROSE HOME-site of the famous movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", cantilevered over the ravine, these two steel and glass buildings, which can never be duplicated, have incredible vistas of the surrounding woods. This is a unique property designed by A. James Speyer and David Haid, both notable architects of the 20th Century. Estate Sale Sold "As Is" No disclosures! This is an amazing architectural treasure.

Photos:

That's the garage from the car scene near the end of the film.

Here's what it looks like inside.

It's a beautiful place. I wonder what it'd be like to be visible at almost all times though...not sure I'd like that.

"As is"? "no disclosures"?

Sounds fishy.

That's some home, no?

My thoughts, too. I'm reminded of the Farnsworth House. Looks great, but completely unliveable. I wonder if there's some secret flaw in this place that they don't want buyers to uncover.

I've wanted one just like it ever since I was 12 years old.

Ha. I wonder if they took out the back wall to film that and then replaced it afterward. They had to, right?
