I think newcommunities.org is such an important Web site because it covers news in neighborhoods that are under represented in Chicago media.

What Sarahmaria Gomez of TuMultimedia didn't say, in her comment above, was how much she enjoyed working on the piece. She and partner Alex Fledderjohn shot video and still photos (and collected sound) in 16 different communities, and they loved it, because the places are interesting and the people are great.
