Important subject. Vivid arrests. Protesters including a state senator.

The Boston Globe gave as much coverage to this story as Chicago media did. Almost none.

Get the message? Single payer appears to be but a negotiating gambit in the health care insurance reform agenda.

Let's hope the single payer idea is dumped if it is but a negotiating gambit, as you say. I know even the lesser so-called public option idea (that I am also 100% against) comes and goes in the debate. One day it's in, the next day out.

Of course, it's all a sham. ANY bill will turn into socialist healthcare because once the meddling government gets its hands on our healthcare it will effectually be a government program despite the weasel words claiming otherwise.

I want government OUT of my life, not allowing or disallowing me to LIVE it!

These people might mean well and be "brave" but in the police state climate we have today in America, I would not advise protesting like this...you will be arrested, no doubt, and no one will give a damn!
The media is too in love with the crazy programs obama and the democrats are trying to shove down our throats to care about this.
I support these unfortunate people, but they kind of brought this on themselves, just sayin.

I want to live, period. I don't want to be one of the 44,000 Americans who are going to die this year because we lack health insurance.

And the only way I'm going to get insurance is through health-care reform with a strong public option or single-payer plan.

I wish it were even a negotiating gambit. It's not even on the table.
