The Chicago News Cooperative (CNC) Wednesday announced that the Chicago Tribune's leading City Hall reporter has joined the staff of the new multi-platform news venture that will offer public service reporting about Chicago for the New York Times, the city's public television station and on the Internet.

Jesus. That's some aggressive hiring. They're just stealing people away from the Tribune now. Amazing.
Same reason why there's some many Chicago people in the Obama administration. Or why you keep seeing the same actors in a certain director's films.
Hire an old Trib guy to run it, and he's going to hire a bunch old Trib people to work for him.
In other words: "We don't want nobody that nobody sent.""
It does seem rather like an old (white) boys club.
