Looking back at the week's news, it shocks me that the Thomson prison story isn't in the top five, but maybe it broke too late in the week to rack up the pageviews?
This list makes me wonder why no one has started a Deadspin equivalent in Chicago. It seems so obvious: combine celebrity gossip blogging with a feverish fandom of local sports.
