After being under renovation for a while, the theater once known at the "ghettoplex" reopens. The movie theater was known for BYOB (bring your own bag, and get it filled with popcorn).

This place is right down the block from me; my wife and I saw Ice Age 3 there shortly after it opened, and the theater is quite nice. Tickets at $7.50 (or $5 for a matinee) a short walk away are a no-brainer vs. driving 20-30 minutes for $10 tickets elsewhere.
