Ravinia Music Theatre South? The custom of spreading out blankets to stake territory @ a popular music venue bears strong resemblance to the custom of Ravinia Music Theatre guests.
Might we solve this by simply requesting that guests occupy a single seat?
Construction of Millennium Park required the best efforts & generous donations of Chicagoans & suburbanites alike contrary to the Honorable Alderman Schulter's provincial preferences.
If that area is filling up so quickly and often then that is a very good thing. Let advertisers know that is get some money out of it for the city.
This hardly makes any sense. If the alderman's residents are complaining so much, they should get there earlier. We want MORE suburbanites coming into the City and spending their money here, not less.
That would go against the secret plan Chicago has to build a giant dome over the city so that Daley's friends can get more city contracts though.
Exactly, Paul. My family in Colorado comes out here to visit me every so often, and we've all enjoyed Millenium Park along with the scads of other tourists there. Reserving seats for locals would be a huge middle finger to the visitors we're trying to attract.
Agreed, Paul & Imaton!
