Hey there - I didn't see this earlier link, but the SunTimes article it attaches to barely mentions what happened with CHA.
"He was embarrassed by the 17th Ward Regular Democratic Organization's fund-raising ties to CHA contractors" - that's all it says.
My post details exactly what happened. Sorry to repeat, but I thought the details of the pay to play were worth noting.

My experience with another Chicago ward's Regular Democratic Organization fund-raising might help explain why CHA contractors appeared to be so generous.
May I suggest that you explore the names of the leading CTA contractors & generosity expressed towards leading Chicago politicians, RDO ward organizations & candidates?
