Over 25 environmental groups will rally Saturday at Fisk Coal Plant to demand strong domestic and international policy action from President Obama as he sets forth to join international climate talks in Copenhagen.

Shouldn't we all set picket signs where the acid rains fouls the river, streams & lakes?

The good news is that there are other energy companies, some of them based in Illinois, that are operating and building renewable energy facilities currently. Renewable energy is going mainstream.

Will businesses & consumers pay a premium of alternative energy?

I accidentally drove by that protest.

I saw a bunch of religious zealots screaming goofy slogans.

Silly hippies! There's no such thing as "global warming!"

You don't believe me? How do you account for the fact that the earth's temperature has cooled over the last decade?

Oops! Science went out and shot a hole in your precepts of your religion. Too bad!

Ha, couldn't agree more. I'll tell these hippie wannabes what, if they pay for all my energy then I'll let them create all the regulations that they want. Just don't make me pay for their religious zealotry!

The scientific community is mostly convinced that global warming is for real. Personally, I don't believe in GPS. I mean, where's the proof? It's all theoretical. And that landing on the moon thing, HA!

What's funny is that all the regulations the global warming cultists want to impose on the economy will obviously raise energy prices dramatically and disproportionately impact the poor.

Awesome!

The thing is, these groups have no problem with that. From many of their articles you can see that they want millions of people to die so that the "overpopulation" the world is experiencing will be reversed. Environmentalism is necessarily anti-human.
