Over 25 environmental groups will rally Saturday at Fisk Coal Plant to demand strong domestic and international policy action from President Obama as he sets forth to join international climate talks in Copenhagen.
Organizers say the single biggest source of global warming pollution and air pollution in Chicago is Midwest Generation's Fisk and Crawford coal fired power plants.

The good news is that there are other energy companies, some of them based in Illinois, that are operating and building renewable energy facilities currently. Renewable energy is going mainstream.

The scientific community is mostly convinced that global warming is for real. Personally, I don't believe in GPS. I mean, where's the proof? It's all theoretical. And that landing on the moon thing, HA!
What's funny is that all the regulations the global warming cultists want to impose on the economy will obviously raise energy prices dramatically and disproportionately impact the poor.

The thing is, these groups have no problem with that. From many of their articles you can see that they want millions of people to die so that the "overpopulation" the world is experiencing will be reversed. Environmentalism is necessarily anti-human.
