Results of a nationwide College Sustainability Report Card were just recently released, rating colleges on a variety of issues relating to sustainability and commitment to "green" practices. Most local universities ranked at around a C, with the best scores being a B-. The link is to a fun lil' clickable map, detailing local results.

I am a little surprised that Columbia College isn't on there, considering they have tried to make a big effort in the buildings and dorms to organize recycling programs.
