"The bank must expand its board and bring on new Latinos, or it will likely not receive MDI designation. So far, there has been some pushback by those on the bank’s board of directors to bring on more Hispanics to its ranks."

I have to wonder if only bringing more Hispanics onto the board versus bringing other minorities on as Board of Directors be in the best long range interests of this community bank?
