What's next on the "clubs I'm going to skewer" list?
I've been to this place once and it's not nearly as bad as this guy describes it. One, when anyone goes to a popular and crowded place, someone slinging more cash than you is probably getting their drinks faster. I'm not that person and it doesn't seem like this guy was either. Or maybe some regulars were at the bar. This is an immediate memory erase of your drinks for a familiar face's. Two, at any bar you could show up on a bad night. Sounds like this guy was there on a really bad night.
One thing I agree with the guy on is I do expect to be dazzled when I have to pay a cover. I feel like I should never have to pay to look at the door man. If they showed me boobs or something better, I'll pay before I enter gladly.
Yeah, I've found slinging cash to get results when I go out.
OK, so maybe this spot isn't so bad. What other places do you like in the city? Anything up on the North Side?
Oh no. This place is bad. I am a girl which means I should be able to command drinks pretty easily, especially since the bartender was eying me earlier before I walked up. Playing hard to get is hot if he were a club-goer, but not if he is a bartender...I want my drink!
And if a Friday night is a bad night, then what are the other nights like?!?! *Shudders*
