Nothing was answered as we stopped at the brunette's spot. "She should dump him, right?" The only move was to nod and take her money. Her role in this whole thing, aside from unreliable narrator, was never revealed. The fragmented dramas that play out in the back seat always demand fleshing out, yet in the end, it's probably unwise to reach any definite conclusions. These shards of story are better left raw and sharp, better to spur one's own memories, whether regretful or otherwise...

These posts never disappoint. Glad to hear cab drivers find those booze trolleys as obnoxious as pedestrians do at times...
