If you’re not familiar, The Violet Hour is located in Wicker Park, half a block off the Damen blue line stop, behind a graffitied, camoflaged door. The bar has specific house rules such as no cellphones (one I can thoroughly appreciate). Minus a few people sitting at the bar, a diverse crowd of people of all ages sat at individual tables in elegant, high-back leather chairs that made you feel important even if you’re just some lowly part-time worker like me.

Been wanting to check out this place for awhile. This review sells it pretty hard.

Thanks for the share, lana4d! The Wicker Park thriller movie left me intrigued by life in this Chicago Northwest Side neighborhood!
