Fascinating.
The gist: Illinois is getting more stimulus funding for roads and improvements than any other state because our officials had dozens of projects set up already that they didn't trust Blago to carry through on.
Stories like this make you wonder why Blago was busted when he was. Maybe getting him out of the way cleared the way for the feds to pour money into projects he was blocking.
