Mayor Daley's Olympic Promise

The only thing that matters to Daley is good PR on the front end, and then getting his way at the end of the day. Of course this isn't legally binding... and he'll use these tools to move forward in the bid, and if the bid is successful, once the cost of living skyrockets, the long-term residents are displaced to make way for new construction, and outsider contractors are brought in to get it all done, he'll say he had no choice... his job is just too tough, and these are the decisions that had to be made. All that power and no accountability, wow, what a burden to carry. Maybe it's time to give someone else a shot!
