The money given to prospective home buyers to pay for affordable housing will likely never be repaid to the city, Mayor Daley said Saturday. In at least 50 cases, the Chicago Sun-Times found prospective home buyers bought and flipped the properties within months of their original purchase dates. Often, they gained huge profits in the process.
