House committee approves state tax hike for full vote

The 67-percent state income tax hike already approved by the Illinois senate will go before the full House tonight for a vote. The state has no budget set for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. House Speaker Michael Madigan has given no indication if he plans to support or reject the bill.
