Nico Pitney of the Huffington Post is live blogging the latest Iran election fallout. At 10:45 ET Wednesday night he relayed the following from U of C's Eric Purdy --

We have set up a website to receive faxes from Iran, which we will post online. Hopefully this will be another way for information about what's going on in Iran to make its way out of the country.

Please disseminate this fax number as widely as possible: 001 773 321 0202. We will post any faxes we receive at iranfax.org.

It's a message that has since been tweeted and retweeted.

This is really a great thing. I have read a ton about hackers and individuals setting up proxy servers and helping out that way. I am glad to see a major institution is taking a stand.
