The last line in her piece raises an interesting point. The last time we hosted an Olympics in the U.S., the Salt Lake City games, the organizers were outed as corrupt through and through. With such a precedent, how can people even feign surprise at rumors that the same might be happening again.

Paul, where do you think the Chicago crew ranks against the "Utah bad boys"? They've got to be up there, right?

Well I can't personally say I know anything at all about the crew in Utah. But I've done quite enough contracting work for the DGS, PBC, CPS, CHA, etc, to know how things go down behind the scenes in this city. While I am sure corruption is a constant for any Olympic host, you'd better believe we're gonna set some records around here.
