I saw that Tankboy, a Chicagoist writer, currently has 10 votes. What a joke!

So I just nominated our very own Qstrian for next mayor.

Vote him up here: http://nextchicagomayor.uservoice.com/pages/35901-next-chicago-mayor/sug...

Actually, now I'm ahead of Daley.

Vote for me and I'll make the city work again!

"Mick Dumke can go back to Michigan now" is my favorite on the list.

I don't want to sign up for yet another account, but think your idea is amusing, intriguing, brilliant and scintillating. Maybe titillating as well, I'll have to think about it. Is there an easy way to sign up? I'm not au courant with the latest scams.

No need to sign up for anything. Just go over and click the "vote" button on Qstrian's page. Give him three points!

Too much sacrificial lamb, not enough beef credits loyal opposition who lack fund-raising & name recognition. The next Mayor of Chicago will likely be a current officeholder who has made a deal with those who really run the City of Chicago, tankboy!

... and how much you wanna bet that the next mayor will only be a 1 termer, too... quickly followed by Daley's son who will be Mayor until he sis 72 years old.

Excellent. And satisfying, too, because my one vote counted for three points. These folks sure know how to please Chicago voters! Thanks!

And it couldn't happen to a better candidate! Qstrian knows better (clears throat loudly) than anyone how to get votes!

Brilliant prognostication on your part. Maybe you'll be the conservative Axelrod!
