Duncan Urges Colleges to Help Underperforming Schools

Corporate "adoption" of several Chicago Public Schools appears to have made a big difference in the lives of those participating students.

Didactic pairing has been proven to be a key determinant in how students learn & make better lifestyle choices.

My law firm experience as a volunteer Brown School tutor introduced me to a new world & I would heartily recommend similar volunteer work to others.

Pulled out the name of the source from the headline.

I think it would be beneficial for many universities to become involved in public schools in some way. They could offer credits or special incentives for students willing to volunteer, or make it a required community service effort. I think a lot of college students would be interested.
