Apparently the city's boundaries are Old Town to Chinatown. That's all folks, nothing else to see here. The back of the map highlights these neighborhoods: Andersonville/Uptown, Bronzeville/Hyde Park, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Pilsen and Wicker Park/Bucktown.

Well they can't include every single neighborhood on there. Looks like they did the best they could. The neighborhoods included are a function of the neighborhoods that would play a part in the Olympics coming to town, decisions that have already been criticized pretty good.
I agree with adelle77.
This map does not say that this is the boundaries of chicago. What, are they to give them a map of the entire city that gives no details to the downtown area? If I'm visiting a city, I like a map that includes the names of all the streets in the downtown area. I wouldn't want a map of the whole city that is so far big scale, that I can't see any of the streets.
And the map also shows other neighborhoods. Will ALL neighborhoods be included? Sorry, but they won't fit. It's a map, not a book.
Maybe if you want to give the IOC one of those Rand McNally 2009 Chicago 7-County Street Guide that weighs 3.4 pounds. http://www.amazon.com/McNally-Chicago-7-County-Street-Guide/dp/0528874284
