A neat photo set showing the sterile and stark insides of the new data center Microsoft constructed here in Chicago.

Let's arrange a tour, Nelson. My last visit to a data center was with Broadwing in Austin during election week 2000.

Microsoft leaders tout the future of computing as "two screens & a cloud." The Chicago west suburban Microsoft Data Center hosts the so-called IT "cloud" computer servers which will invite many corporations to transfer IT support to Microsoft as an outsourced third party.

Imagine that fewer than 12 people work @ that Franklin Park facility.
