Ah, yes, the knife salesman explanation. Doing a few sales calls on Sunday morning.
If he worked for Vector selling CutCo, yes, yes he probably was.
And the knives were out of a case, why? Was he getting ready to give a demo?
I saw a "homeless" guy take rolled up newspaper out of his coat pocket on a crowded el train. He unrolled it. Big butcher knife. He examined it for a while, then put it back in the newspaper and his pocket. I was ready to sound the alarm. The guy seemed to have no idea what he was doing was inappropriate.
Do you think he just made that up to try and get out of trouble? Quite possible.
Now that's creepy!
