Your intriguing tale greatly expanded my understanding of the good work done by the Salvation Army & how one immigrant student's assimilation helped another less fortunate to find their way to a better life. Imagine how quickly Kirsten Aho has adapted to a different culture. Having worked with the Salvation Army to convert a former Des Plaines corporate campus to its new noble purpose, I still remember the glorious sunrises seen from the top floor of the top of the non-for-profit's corporate office tower.
