Another Derailment Shuts Down Metra Service for suburban commuters

Service on Metra's North Central Service from Antioch to Chicago has been canceled after a freight train derailment in Buffalo Grove. The derailment occurred near the Buffalo Grove station at about 4 a.m., and is resulting in the cancellation of all inbound and outbound trains on Metra's North Central line, according to a Metra's Web site.
