This rap is guaranteed to make you smile so that you can forget, at least briefly, what an embarassment of a Governor we have. If you'd like to learn more about the talented young men behind the music, you can visit them at http://www.chitownkids.com/index.html

Lyrics I liked:

ROD BLAGOJEVICH

"You'll be doing time"

ROD BLAGOJEVICH

"Wish I had your hairline"

ROB BLAGOJEVICH

"You look young but you're old"

I like where they say we need a leader, not someone who'll end up cell-mates with Drew Peterson :) Those two characters are definitely alike in many ways.

Agreed. But that's the fun of it, right? Blago's about as white as they come.

Is there a couplet that rhymes Cinnabon with cinnamon? I'm trying to like it, since they're trying so hard and all. I'm just not sure two whites make a right. The whole '90s thug rap spoof thing going on in popular culture is definitely... something.

I say, let's go the whole way with this Blagojevich thing. I want to see an operatic production. Or maybe read a complicated roman à clef that deals with the situation.

What do you have against Cinnabon? I luuurve Cinnabon.

I think you've hit a good idea with Blagojevich: The Opera!

Or what about an epistolary novel composed of excerpts from the wire taps?

I feel like there already might be a project (err, government sanctioned investigation) underway that aims to craft a story that connects excerpts from the wire taps. So it's not exactly a novel, more like a work of epistolary non-fiction. Similar to The Letters of Abelard and Heloise. Only, you know, not quite as sexy.

Has this become the dorkiest reply thread ever? y/n?

I would buy tickets to Blago: The Opera right this very second. The elaboarate wigs alone would be worth the price of admission.
