Gas station changes to digital sign, keeps up with price changes

Uptown's National Car Wash prices are now listed digitally, perhaps due in part to arms getting tired from constantly re-hanging price changes.

If we see more and more digital gas station signs like this, will it ultimately push prices up or down? If stations are able to change their prices with the push of a button, do consumers win or lose on that front?

Similarly, Philly's Best (I think that's the name) now charges the approximate cost of a gallon of gas as it's delivery charge. It says so on the take out menus anyway. I guess that keeps them from having to constantly reprint the menus as the price changes.
