Body found on Brown Line tracks

Police say they are investigating, but have not determined the cause of death. It does not appear the person was hit by a train, according to the police and the CTA.

Body found on Brown Line tracks
Albany Park, Chicago, Ill. —  

Service was suspended on the Brown Line early this morning after an unidentified body was discovered on the tracks near the Kedzie Avenue station on the Northwest Side.

At 6:34 a.m., the Chicago Transit Authority shut off the power between the Kimball and Western Ave. stations and operated a bus shuttle for passengers. Brown Line service between those stations resumed at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Police say they are investigating, but have not determined the cause of death. It does not appear the person was hit by a train, according to the police and the CTA.
