Northwestern student found dead in dorm room
Evanston, Chicago, Ill. —  

Authorities are investigating after a Northwestern University freshman was found dead Tuesday in his dormitory room.

An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday for Matthew S. Sunshine, 19, of Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.

Sunshine, who was enrolled in the School of Education and Social Policy, was found inside the Foster House dorm, 2253 Sheridan Rd., on the Evanston campus, the university said. He was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
