Blagojevich, some artists' renditions

Artist Alley at Comic-con is filled with dozens of young and veteran artists of all styles and skills. Nearly all of them will draw a sketch for you of whatever you want in their own style too. So I walked up and down the aisles asking for sketches of everyones favorite politician, Blagojevich. Unlike the beliefs of Blagojevich though, I refused to pay more than a few bucks for them. At one point I was offered a special price of $75, down from $100, for a sketch of our ex-governor's head, hair and all, because the artist felt strongly about what Blagojevich had done. Enough of the story telling though, here are the sketches from artists that would do it for free or for a little beer money.

Ha! The last one is my favorite. That was someone pretty savvy in local politics. I'm not sure if the average person remembers that Ditka was nearly recruited by the local GOP to run for the U.S. House.

The last one was done by the artist of a comic called Arsenic Lullaby. It is very clever and full of dark humor. I have no doubt he knew what was going on.
