Thursday was National Dump the Pump Day, where people were encouraged to look on the bright side of higher gas prices -- riding the CTA is suddenly the more efficient alternative!

And today we bring you the latest Chicago buzz -- the increasing hype behind the upcoming Cubs-Sox series. Chicago Sports's Rick Morrissey calls it "borderline insanity." We call it awesome.
